Kevin Saves the World

The publication of Kevin Saves the World by David Bennett Books is how The Writers’ Advice Centre first started. Managing Editor, Louise Jordan, was working at Penguin Children’s Books when Daniel’s manuscript landed in her in-tray. She loved it and senior editors did too. However they didn’t feel that Penguin was the right home for the book and suggested that Daniel approach another publisher. The rest is history and Louise realised that there was a need for an agency with specialist knowledge of the children’s book market as a whole.
