Development Week 2021

Each year, BookTrust Represents offers free industry training to aspiring/emerging authors and illustrators of colour. With a mix of workshops, advice clinics and expert Q&As, the training sessions are hosted by well-known children’s book authors and illustrators and notable industry experts. This year’s Development Week takes place from 20 – 24th September and the theme is ‘The Confident Author’. BookTrust have curated a series of workshops, Live Q&As and inspiring talks to arm debut creators with the tools they need to navigate their way through the industry with confidence and authenticity.
